Addison, NY - Ellwyn R. Culbertson, 70, of Beeman Hollow Road, Addison, passed away on Wednesday evening, November 26, 2012 at Absolut Care @ Three Rivers in Painted Post, NY. Born in Corning, NY on March 20, 1942, Ellwyn was the son of the late Ernst and Grace Alma Culberson. He attended the Painted Post High School. Prior to his retirement, he was employed at a nuclear power facility in Texas. Ellwyn is survived by his daughters, Pam and Michelle, his brothers, Hulbert Culbertson of Savona, Harry Culbertson, with whom Ellwyn shared his home in Addison and Charles Culbertson of South Dakota, his sisters, Vivian Shaut of Elkland, Pa., Pearl Lechner of Addison, Ellnora Hotaling of Addison, Ruby Bloom of Bath and Charlotte Vaughn of Georgia along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Earl and Ivan Culbertson and his sister, Thelma Manwaring. A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the Woodhull Cemetery, Woodhull, NY.
