Obituary of Betty J. Fenton

Betty J. Fenton, 82, of Dayspring II Apartments in Corning, formerly of Cameron Mills, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Founders Pavilion in Corning following a long struggle with cancer. Born in Addison on February 9, 1931, she was the daughter of Asa and Mabel Howard Moss. On October 7, 1961, Betty and Leroy E. Fenton were married in Addison. They made their home together in Cameron Mills for many years. Leroy preceded her in death on April 3, 2012. Betty was a homemaker but had also been employed at Westinghouse Electric in Bath for a period of time. Betty and Leroy loved to fish together and they also had been vendors at area flea markets for many years. She was a talented craft maker, an activity she truly enjoyed. Surviving Betty are her children, Ronald (Sharon) Dailey of Addison, Donald Dailey of California, Sue Ann Ellis of Campbell and Paula Campbell of North Carolina, 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and very dear friend and care giver, Blanche Stephens of Woodhull. Friends may call on Monday, April 29 from 1 to 2 PM at the H.P. Smith & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St. Woodhull, New York where memorial services will follow at 2 PM with Rev.
