Obituary of Dorothy L. Webster

Dorothy L. Webster, 89, of County Route 112, Addison (Town of Tuscarora), passed away at home on Saturday morning, May 24, 2014. Dorothy was born in Elkland, PA on Feb. 20, 1925, the daughter of Pearley and Genevieve (Hazlett) Gee. On Nov. 1, 1945, she married Mahlon J. Webster. He preceded her in death on Dec. 15, 2001 after 56 years as husband and wife. Dorothy was a homemaker and a long time member of the Tuscarora Baptist Church. She loved to crochet and had built hundred of afghans over the years which she loved to share with others. She was an avid word find puzzle buff and adored her grandchildren and cherished time spent with them. Besides her husband Mahlon, Dorothy was predeceased by her daughter, Vicki Seeley who died Jan. 15, 2011 and her sister, Kathryn Sereno and brother in law, Leo Sereno. Surviving is her son and daughter in law, Don and Paulena Webster of Addison, her son in law, Ricky Seeley of Lawrenceville, PA, her grandchildren, Malanda (Wayne) Cambra of Addison, Dustin (Jessica) Webster of Addison, Micki (Amanda) Seeley of Lawrenceville and Nicki (Rob) Watson of Lawrenceville, her great grandchildren, Brayde Webster, Abbagail Nowakowski, Landon Nowakowski, Lily Seeley, Braxton Watson, Kylie Kambra and Wesley Radke, her sister, Eloise (John) Childs of Presho along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 29 from 6-8 PM and again on Friday from 12-2 PM at the Tuscarora Baptist Church. Dorothy's funeral service will follow visitation at 2 PM on Friday with Pastor Rollin Howard officiating. Burial will be in Baxter Cemetery, Town of Tuscarora.
