Obituary of Pauline L. Graves

     Pauline L. Graves, 88, of the Taylor Health Care Center in Bath, formerly of Lakeview Apartments, entered into rest early Tuesday morning, September 19, 2017 at Taylor.Pauline was born on Nov. 27, 1928 in Osceola, PA to the late Claude and Cora (Lent) Simons. She was a graduate of the Woodhull High School.Pauline worked as a farmer most of her life, being employed by various farms in the area. She loved working with and caring for horses.Surviving are her sons and daughters in law, John and Linda Graves of Addison and Randy and Dawn Graves of Savona her grandchildren, Heidi Graves of Coopers Plains, Jason (Jamie) Graves of Peoria, AZ, Tyler Graves of Addison, Melissa Whalen (Scott) Houck of East Amherst, NY and Jennifer Whalen of Savona, 4 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.Besides her parents, Claude & Cora Simons, Pauline was preceded in death by her brothers, Perry Simons and Alvin Simons, her sister, Shirley Simons Smith and her grandson, Justin Graves.The family will be present to receive friends from noon to 2 pm on Friday, September 22 at the H.P. Smith & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St. Woodhull, NY. There will be no formal service.Burial will then follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Austinburg, PA.
